On Monday (23rd), Prati-Donaduzzi´s director-president, Eder Maffissoni, had the visit of Toledo´s athlete Julia Bergmann, from Toledo City Hall Volleyball Team/Prati-Donaduzzi/Avotol, who is among the 20 athletes selected to Brazil´s under 18 volleyball team. Júlia will present herself at Volleyball Development Center, in Saquarema (RJ), on June 1st. Afterwards, they will announce the 12 athletes who will represent Brazil on competitions. If she is selected, Júlia will participate in the preparation phase for South American Championship of this category, which will be held on August 24th and 28th, in Peru.
Júlia is happy with the selection and points out that it was through the project that she got visiability as an athlete. “This is a great opportunity as an athlete and result of a hard work, not only mine but of my coaches and supporters. I hope to continue in the selection and to be able to play many championships, taking Toledo´s name all around Brazil”, she points out.
Maffissoni points out that it was satisfying to welcome the athlete at Prati-Donaduzzi. “I got really happy to know that there is an athlete from Toledo in the Brazilian Team and to support a project that has shown good results”, he emphasizes.
