The actions of Prati-Donaduzzi’s Socioenvironmental Responsibility are associated with a systemic approach, and are focused towards the relationship between the company, its collaborators, and the community in which we are located. Through projects and programs, activities which serve the diverse public goals are accomplished. Learn about each one:
PIP - Professional Initiation Program
Prati-Donaduzzi’s Professional Initiation Program is free of charge and is offered to the community’s youth who are between the ages of 16 and 18. It is a 60-hour course whose objective is to prepare the youth for entry in the job market. Behavioral and technical competencies are approached in a classroom setting, and covers topics such as financial education, resumé building, teamwork, and others.
Safe Gestation
The program is geared towards future mothers (collaborators, daughters and wives of collaborators) and fathers. It offers information, orientation, and an exchange of experiences which concerns gestation, childbirth, post-childbirth, and care of newborns. The goal is to provide safety during gestation and improvements in the quality of life and work of the mothers and fathers, as well as the infant.
Start Again
Start Again is a partnership with the Courthouse of Toledo, the 20th Police Subdivision, and the Community Counsel. The Program seeks to provide activities and workshops which enable personal reflection, learning, and development for a future re-integration of convicts in society and in the workforce, along with improving self-esteem and well-being.
Volunteer Work
With the motto “Do good unto others, regardless of whom”, Prati-Donaduzzi’s volunteer program offers collaborators a chance to integrate the merits and values of volunteering with their work ethics. The activities benefit not only company personnel, but the community as a whole.
Practicing Dreams
This program has financial education and stability as its main objective. It is made up of an educational practice for collaborators who choose to participate, with financial stability as its end-goal.
Sustainable Prati
Sustainable Prati is a partnership with the City of Toledo, the Municipal Secretary of Education, and the Municipal Secretary of the Environment. The objective of the project is to provide awareness to local elementary students of Engenheiro Waldyr Luiz Becker Municipal School about the environment, sustainability, and doing their part. The goal of the program is to create citizens who are more involved and aware about their rights and responsibilities.
Pratincluir (To Include You)
The program, whose name is a portmanteau of “Prati” and “include”, has the goal of inclusion of people with disabilities, and to provide workforce and developmental opportunities. It provides assistance to collaborators and management, with orientation and participation in situations related to the company, or not, with a humane view, and always seeking engagement.
Colmeias (Hives)
The project is carried out with female prisoners serving their sentences in the prison of the 20th Police Subdivision of Toledo (20th SDP) and offers the opportunity for work, the feeling of a new beginning and the incentive for social reintegration. Hive is the name given to the material used inside the boxes where medicines are stored and women organize these materials.
