The Digital Inclusion Program - PID (“Programa de Inclusão Digital”) held through Prati-Donaduzzi and Faculdade Sul Brasil - Fasul partnership, promoted last Friday (20th) the graduation of one hundred students participating in the project. The initiative, which began in 2010, aims to provide digital inclusion, professional training and personal development to adolescents and youngsters from 14 to 18 years old, living in Toledo and region.

According to the social worker of Prati-Donaduzzi, Maria Rita Pozzebon, it is time to thank and celebrate. “I am very happy to see them today wearing gown and cap. I also imagine the joy of the parents at this time. PID is a reason of pride because we see young people who have gone through this program and now work in large companies in the city. Congratulations to all for having said yes to PID and I want you to continue investing in your growth”, she says.

The program has graduated 800 students participating in extra-curricular activities, totaling 120 hours of training on Ethics, Citizenship and Sustainability, Standards and general rules in the workplace, Behavioral skills, Personal marketing, Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, among others.

The teacher and representative of Fasul at the event, Gilmar Camargo, said the opportunity offered through the partnership allows students to grow. “PID allows participants to develop their skills and become ethical and competent professionals. I wish them to continue striving and I thank Prati-Donaduzzi for being a partner of this citizenship initiative", he says.

According to city counselor Sue Guerra, representing the City Council, it is gratifying to see young people interested in becoming a professional. “I am glad to see them seeking knowledge and finding opportunities like this one offered in PID Prati/Fasul. I have no doubt that everyone here will have a bright future and I offer special congratulations to the parents who encourage and accompany them to follow the correct purpose”, she says.

To Marlene Santos, mother of student Maicon Wellington da Silva, the program offers an option for young people. “In my opinion this opportunity hugely helps in the development of my son, it offers an occupation. An opportunity like that, at no cost, has great value to his future”, she reports.
