The proposal of a virtual assistant with recommendation system, called Dona Patti, was the winner of Hackathon. The idea was known on this Friday morning (18), during Iguassu Valey event, at the Commercial and Business Association of Toledo (ACIT).

The Hackathon challenge was launched by Prati-Donaduzzi, on October 9, during the opening of the 2nd edition of Pig Data, which is considered the largest event in the area of technology and innovation in western Paraná. The event took place at Biopark - Science and Technology Park of Biosciences, based in Toledo.

Through the challenge, the pharmaceutical company wanted to find solutions to improve mapping, relationship and fulfillment of eight OTC (prescription-free) products in the industry portfolio. Last week, four ideas were selected for the final presentation.

Registered teams, in addition to working on trouble-shooting, participated in a company-sponsored training on pharmaceutical marketing. On October 11, four ideas were announced to the final phase. This Friday, they defended the proposals for the examining board, which decided the three winners. The champion received R$ 2,500, the runner-up won R$ 1,500 and the third place won R$ 1,000.

The winner, named Angha Tech, proposed a solution to the final consumer, presenting a virtual assistant, called Dona Patti, who recommends products, locates points of sale and requests the purchase of the drug. The proposal aims to give more speed and convenience to the final consumer when buying Prati-Donaduzzi brand products.

The winning team member, Ederson André de Souza, said the recognition came from the dedication of the team that had been working for days to present the proposal. “We had an intense week. There were many ideas, until we got to that one. We thought about what we should create and then everything went well. Every single detail was essential to make us the winners”, celebrated Ederson.

Prati-Donaduzzi Information Technology Manager, Marcelo Fiorin, was part of the examining board and said Hackathon was a way of finding solutions to an industry demand. “The teams brought several possibilities to the proposed problem. Sometimes what we seek is close to us. ”
