With this visit, only in 2019, the industry has already taken 440 pharmaceutical industry professionals to visit the Iguazu Falls, Bird Park and other tourist attractions of the Triple Border.
By the end of the year, at least 400 other professionals from various pharmacy chains throughout Brazil may visit the city. Among them, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Mato Grosso do Sul and Mato Grosso.
The action is part of Conheça Mais Project (PCM), which belongs to the company's Marketing Department. Since 2010, the initiative has taken more than 11,000 customers to visit Foz do Iguaçu.
After the sightseeing, on Monday (7) customers make a technical visit to the pharmaceutical industry. They visit from the warehouse (the space where the raw materials that arrive in the industry are stored daily) to the unit where the main solid medicines are produced. These include Losartan (treatment of hypertension), Metformin (used to control diabetes) and Captopril (recommended for treatment of hypertension and heart failure).

This project aims to bring the company closer to customers and show care in the manufacturing process. After all, nowadays, Paraná´s pharmaceutical company produces 12 billion doses of medicines per year and is present in more than 56 thousand Brazilian pharmacies.
Until 2010, Prati-Donaduzzi served especially the public health units. That year, it began another phase by focusing its sales on the Pharma Channel. "Nothing fairer than bringing those who sell our products to know the manufacturing process and the region where the company is located", said Noemi Kistemacher, coordinator of the Project.
According to Naomi, Prati-Donaduzzi included the Triple Border in the script as a way of encouraging customer participation and enhancing the region. “Foz is one of Brazil's top tourist destinations and is 150 kilometers away from our industry. We are proud of showing our customers that one of the 7 Wonders of Nature is very close to us”, she said.
