Prati-Donaduzzi made available to the Education Department of the Municipality of Toledo the accomplishment of "Universo das Ciências" project - Universe of Science -  for five groups of students of the 5th grade of Elementary School. The project activities, which aim to provide students with access to Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biology and Industrial Production contente, began today (11th) for the first group of students.
The supervisor of the Corporate University of Prati-Donaduzzi, Fabiane Dallo, welcomed the group. "We hope you make the most of your participation in the project and that we can have you again on other occasions”, she said.
According to Prati-Donaduzzi's Human Resources manager, Diones Wolfart, the project seeks to arouse students' curiosity and interest in science, research and technology. "Here the student learns by playing and we create a bond between the company and the municipality”, he said.
The secretary of Education of Toledo, Janice Salvador, thanked the partnership with Prati-Donaduzzi. "It is a rich opportunity for these students to participate in the project and we hope they will make the most of each meeting, to learn more and work with other materials through this partnership”, she said.

Expectations
At the first meeting the group received the general guidelines about the company and the methodology of the project, which were passed on by the teacher of the Universe of Science, Michely Almeida. "We redesigned the contents according to the age of the group, aiming to work with the ludic in a scientific perspective, so they will learn by doing, producing modeling clay and slimes. In addition, they will learn about energy that is worked on physics and different chemical reactions”, she explained. "This project aims to make them perceive science on a daily basis, it is a conception of initiation and scientific research, an inspiration for the future of these students”, she added.
The student Luan Mateus Fritzen, 10, is looking forward to participating again in the "Universo das Ciências". In 2016 he took part in the project in the class for the employees' children and now he accepted the invitation made by the school. "I really enjoyed participating last year and I believe that this year it will be even more fun", he said.
Yet, the student Roger Caldeira de Oliveira, 9, hopes to learn new concepts and experiment during the project. "We do not have these classes at school, so I want to make the most of the lessons in the project”, he said.

Project
In ten three-hour meetings, twice a week, students participate in the project on the school conter-shift. The activities are carried out in an extracurricular character in a specific science laboratory - located at the Corporate University - Uniprati, in order to teach science in an innovative way. Upon completion of the course they receive a certificate. From the beginning, in 2014, the project has already served more than 475 students of Elementary and High School.
