Emotion and thankfulness define the feelings of more than 60 pregnant women who participated in the first class of the year of Prati-Donaduzzi Safe Pregancy Program. On Thursday (30) was held the graduation, which was also attended by some fathers. At the occasion, the pregnant women received a personalized bag with products for the baby and a certificate of participation in the course. In addition, those who attended all meetings received a changing mat.
Expecting the first child, the employee Daiana Sodoski invited her husband Elter to participate in the closure of the program. "I confirmed the pregnancy on December 30, 2016 and started the new year with the wonderful news of being a mother. I thank the company for providing this program to pregnant women, especially because the first-time mothers have many doubts about it. It is a gift from God”, she said.
While Daiana looks forward to Augusto´s arrival - who is expected to be born in August - employee Vanessa Pires enjoys every moment of the twins Mathias and Valentina. She participated in the Safe Pregnancy in 2016 and told the pregnant women about the life of twins. "Being a mother of two is double love, two children who teach you every day. I could only understand the true sense of being a mother when they were born and being here today talking to you is a victory”, she said.
Experience
The last meeting of the program was also attended by the founding partner of the company Dr. Carmen Donaduzzi, who spoke about the importance of Safe Pregnancy and left a message to the mothers. "We participate in each employee's pregnancy and monitor the growth of their children. So, live intensely your pregancy and enjoy every moment with your babies", she emphasized.
More than 1,700 pregnant women have participated in the Safe Pregnancy Program in the last 11 years. According to the supervisor of the Social Responsibility department of Prati-Donaduzzi, Maria Rita Pozzebon, during the meetings the pregnant women receive guidance from a multidisciplinary team, working on the themes of gestation and relationship with the newborn. "It's an exciting joy to be able to keep up with all that. It is a space where they can interact, first-time mothers can exchange experiences with those who already have children", she explained.
