Joy and emotion. These feelings reflected the gratitude of 75 children from Carlos Friedrich Municipal School, on Jardim Coopagro, who received Christmas presents on Friday (23rd). They were benefited by the Solidarity Tree Campaign "150 chances of doing good", carried out by Prati-Donaduzzi Pharmaceutical Industry, through Prati Volunteer Program.
All this has been possible thanks to the solidarity of godparents who were sensitized to the simple requests of the children in the letters written to Santa Claus. They turned a simple act into a grand gesture of love. The couple Lauana Donaduzzi and Charles Ferri involved their three children in the gift purchase for Miguel, 7 years old. "He asked for a toy car and our kids helped us pick a truck with lots of strollers. It was a family action and the possibility of being able to help others. These little gestures that are important to contribute to the Christmas of these children”, they said.
Like Miguel, the 11-year-old boy, Carlos Henrique de Araújo, was delighted with the presents. "I got a bike and a soccer ball. I am very happy ", he celebrated. His request was answered by a group of five people. "We were delighted with his requests and bought what he asked for. We and, I'm sure, other godparents did their best to meet the children's requests. It was very good to see their joy in receiving gifts ", says Natália Wagner, a Prati-Donaduzzi employee and volunteer in Prati Volunteer Program. “It is a lovely project and we intend to do other actions, such as Easter and Children's Day, in 2017”, she adds.
The program has 87 employees from all companies of the Prati Group who act as volunteers, as well as people from the community, reaching a table of approximately 120 volunteers. "The objective is to awaken in our employee the feeling of wanting to help others and to approach the community. Today was a very special moment, to be able to see the joy of these children in receiving the much-desired gift they asked for Santa Claus", says, Prati-Donaduzzi's Social Responsibility supervisor, Maria Rita Pozzebon.
