Forty-five university students from Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul and Minas Gerais started Prati-Donaduzzi Internship Program on Wednesday (04). With a duration of one month, the action aims to train professionals with knowledge in the pharmaceutical industry. The interns' group comprises students enrolled in the last year of graduation in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Production Engineering.
The internship internship lasts one month and during this period students receive Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) training, productive process in the pharmaceutical industry, behavior management, teamwork, career perspective, among other issues that are addressed in class. The internship also includes the practical phase through job rotation, which enables learning in various areas of the company.
According to the responsible for the Internship Program, Denize Polla, the project provides the interns with the systemic vision of the company. "We provide professional training in the pharmaceutical industry to students, through practical and theoretical activities. In addition, they have access to different areas of the company and can gain knowledge with experienced professionals”, she says.
The chemistry student at the State University of the West of Paraná (Unioeste), Toledo Campus, Otávio Augusto da Silva, emphasizes that the Holiday Internship will bring a lot of learning. "I had already known the industry through technical visits made via university, but I have a good expectation for the internship, to experience in practice what we have seen in the classroom", he justifies.
The internship program ends on February 3, with the presentation of the final project of the interns in groups, which includes reading and explaining a book, the preparation of the welcome booklet and the retrospective material of the holiday internship.
