Helping others is an act that enhances the human being. It is for this purpose that Prati-Donaduzzi carries out the Solidarity Tree campaign "150 chances to do good", an initiative of the Social Responsibility Department through Prati Volunteer Program.
The benefited ones are children and teenagers of Carlos Friedrich Municipal School, on Jardim Coopagro, who wrote letters to Santa Claus with simple and exciting requests. The letters were hung on a Christmas tree at Prati-Donaduzzi's offices so that godparents could turn a simple act into a grand gesture of love. "Our challenge was to encourage the employees of all companies of Prati Group to become godfathers and godmothers of these children. We did not get the 150 cards as planned at the beginning, but 75 children and teenagers will receive Christmas presents thanks to the solidarity of the people. We noticed a very great intention of everybody in wanting to help, to do good to others”, says Prati-Donaduzzi's Social Responsibility supervisor, Maria Rita Pozzebon.
Delivery
The delivery of the gifts happens next Friday (23rd), at 2:00 p.m. The children and teenagers, along with their relatives, were invited to attend a fraternization. The sponsored ones will have the opportunity to meet their godparents and receive the gifts together with the purple Santa Claus. "We are anxious to see the excitement of the little ones to receive the affection of the people who are volunteers in this action and are part of the Prati Volunteer Program”, adds Maria Rita.
The program currently has 87 employees from all companies of the Prati Group who are volunteers, as well as people from the community, reaching a table of approximately 120 volunteers. And the group is already preparing the next action: it will be at Easter and will serve the elderly people from Recanto Feliz residential, set on Jardim Coopagro.
