By aiming to make the employees aware of the prevention of traffic accidents, Prati-Donaduzzi carried out from May 23rd to 27th a programme alluded to Yellow May Campaign, a worldwide action that aims to draw the attention of the society to the high rates of deaths and injuries in traffic all around the world.
This is the second year the company has been participating of the campaign, which had several actions, such as interventions and hand-out of informative leaflets and yellow bows at the beginning of the working shifts, exhibition of crashed car and motorcycles, educational blitz along with Toledo Municipal Guard, lecture about prevention of traffic accidents by Traffic Operation Group (Gotran), video projection about Yellow May and dissemination in internal media.
According to the manager of Prati-Donaduzzi Labor Safety Department, Julio Cesar Capacle, it is essential to make the employees aware of each one´s behavior in traffic.
“We highlight the traffic safety lecture carried out along with Gotran and the Educational Blitz carried out by The Municipal Guard. The exibition of cars and motorcycles involved in accidents also helped on our employees awareness because a great number of them use motorcycles as the main means of transportation”, he points out.
