The Federal Pharmacy Council (CRF) of Paraná promoted on Friday (12th), in Toledo, the 7th Update Seminar on Pharmaceutical Industry, with emphasis on quality management and similar legislation. The event - organized by CRF-PR Industry Commission - brought together more than 100 people, including pharmacists, teachers and students of the Pharmacy course at the Paranaense University (Unipar). The action had the support of Prati-Donaduzzi and Laboratório Waldomiro Pereira.
The seminar aimed to contribute to the continuous improvement of training for professionals increasingly prepared to the requirements of performance and practice of the pharmacist. On that occasion, a lecture on harmonization of drug registration criteria aimed to update the participants on the topic related to new legislation (RDC 60/2014), which regulates the granting and drug registration renewal, and which directly impacts the areas of Research and Development and Regulatory Affairs. "It is very important this interaction between academic and industry areas and to give a lecture to other professionals on the role of industry and the rules that must be followed to the Supervisory Board, Anvisa," stresses the Regulatory Affairs Manager of Prati-Donaduzzi, Leticia Rechia.
In addition, pharmacist Vanderson Galan, from Prati-Donaduzzi, highlighted in his lecture the industry trends in relation to new pharmaceutical forms. After that, PhD researcher Bruno Sarmento taught a short course on nanotechnology in developing new therapeutic systems.
