Last Saturday (13th), four employees of Prati-Donaduzzi participated in the selective stage of the 14th edition of the Sesi Música Festival, held at the Municipal Theater of Cascavel. Among them, two were qualified for the state-level stage, to be held in November in Curitiba.
Murilo Herreira Theodoro - from Marketing area - secured second place in the Brazilian Popular Music - MPB, with Cazuza's song, Brasil. Lucas Katsui Utsunomia, who works in the Information Technology area, was in second place in the Sacred Music by singing Banda Anjos de Resgate's song, Amor. The two competed for the award in the category Performance.
This was the second time Murilo took part in the regional stage of the festival and, for the second consecutive year, he chose to sing a song of his biggest idol - Cazuza. "The choice of music is always the hardest part, because we need to choose something that will please the public. Inspired by the economic and social policy context we are living, I chose the song Brasil. The happiest moment of the evening was to hear the audience singing along and cheering me as I sang. At that moment I was happy because I had fulfilled my goal of the night, to make the crowd enjoy the music. Now, it is the state-level stage."
Lucas highlights that it is an honor to be part of a company like Prati-Donaduzzi, which supports culture and encourages its employees to participate in musical projects. "Certainly, this is a differential that motivates us and gives more energy to the daily challenges. Finishing second place and qualifying for the finals is the result is a work that is already being done for years along with the Choir, solo projects and band, and, despite the difficulties and routine, we got time to dedicate ourselves to this other passion. In November we will try once again to be among the best and take the name of Prati-Donaduzzi to the highest place of the podium. We count on the support of the employees."
The Sesi Música Festival, sponsored by the Industrial Social Services (SESI) aims to promote culture among workers in industries and their direct dependents, valuing, promoting and spreading the musical production of the country, strengthening the industry as an active participant in the cultural formation of the worker.
