The meeting of voices after so many months separated by computer screens thrills those who find passion in music. This is how the rehearsals of Serprati Choir are being made again. Due to the pandemic, Prati-Donaduzzi employees, who take part in the Choir, virtually met each other. However, now, respecting preventive health measures, the meetings take place on the premises of the industry.

The tuned voices, the decorated songs and the desire to sing are strong characteristics of the members and not even the pandemic took away their desire to do what they like. On the contrary, it became a reason to do even better. The resumption of face-to-face rehearsals is supported by the care that the pharmaceutical company has adopted since the beginning of the pandemic, with the adoption of more than 200 preventive measures.

The meetings take place with a maximum of four members at a time and respecting all health protocols. The resumption is also justified by the company's concern for the employee's well-being, since music provides a direct relationship with health and causes positive emotions. The voices are warm and the choir members are optimistic for the rehearsals and the presentation at the end of the year.

With an eye on Christmas

The preparation of the members aims at carrying out the traditional Christmas cantata. This year, the magic will be brought to people remotely, that is, each person will be able to watch the concert from their home. The Cantata will be broadcasted on Prati-Donaduzzi's Facebook, Instagram and Youtube. The event is scheduled for December 17th, at 7:30 pm.

“We will not have a crowded theater and the warmth of hugs and clapping, but we will have something even better, the reciprocity of people in opening their homes so that we can take a moment of music, peace and entertainment”, explains the conductor, Gerson Giese.

Incentive

Prati-Donaduzzi Pharmaceutical Industry supports Serprati Choir through the Federal Law of Incentive to Culture, of the Special Secretariat of Culture - Ministry of Tourism. The project takes place in partnership with the Prati-Donaduzzi Recreational Sports Society (Serprati) and is extended to the industry employees and other interested parties with the aim of experiencing music.
