The pandemic caused by Coronavirus (Covid-19) further emphasized the importance of doctors to society. Heroes of real life, these professionals do their best every day, often exercising long working hours and, especially nowadays, are at the forefront in fighting the virus that has already killed more than 152 thousand people in Brazil.

“We know that doctors are essential professionals in our society. It is through their hands that we often have the signification or the resignification of life”, says Edilson Bianqui, Director of Medical Prescription at Prati-Donaduzzi.

In Brazil, according to a survey carried out by the Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) in partnership with the University of São Paulo (USP), there are more than 500 thousand doctors with active registration in the regional councils. For Bianqui, both in the fight against Covid-19 and in other challenging clinical situations, the attitude of these professionals is commendable. He points out that Prati-Donaduzzi has something in common with doctors: the commitment to the health of the population.

“Those who have this responsibility cannot stop and that is why Doctor's Day is so important. The date represents, in a simple way, the gratitude of each patient or family member that was positively impacted by these professionals. It is a way of honoring those who dedicate themselves to others, as well as encouraging moments of reflection on the valorization of those who promote the evolution for life”.
