Coach of Volleyball project supported by Prati-Donaduzzi is nominated for Paraná team

Coach Marcos Assunção, one of the instructors of Toledo Mais Vôlei project, was nominated to be the technical assistant for Paraná U-18 Women's Volleyball Team.

This recognition is the result of work that has the support of Prati-Donaduzzi through the Sports Incentive Law, which has discovered, encouraged and launched several local and regional athletes.

The coach has already been invited three more times to join the technical commission of Paraná team and carries on his curriculum the participation in several championships.

According to the coach, the invitation highlights the importance of encouraging sports and recognizes the work done in Toledo. “The invitation made me very happy, as it is the result of the joint effort of everyone who participates, from athletes, parents, supporters to coaches. This motivates us every day to seek even greater achievements.”

Paraná U-18 Women's Volleyball Team will participate in Brazilian U-18 National Championship, in Saquarema, Rio de Janeiro. Marcos is due to submit to the team in early February.

Spotlights

In 2019, volleyball schools had an expressive number of participants and the athletes from Toledo were featured in important competitions.

Among the achievements are the title of undefeated champion of men´s team Youth Games of Paraná and the second place of Toledo/Prati-Donaduzzi/Avotol women´s team in Paraná U-19 Championship of Volleyball.

Incentive

In addition to the support of the pharmaceutical industry, the project is also encouraged by Toledo City Hall and Toledo Volleyball Association (Avotol). Currently, more than 300 children and teenagers participate in Mais Vôlei Project.

Prati-Donaduzzi incentive completes five years in 2020. The partnership aims to promote sports and strengthen local teams, as highlighted by Marketing Manager, Lucas Angnes.

“We are a company whose mission is to provide health and well-being to people and we seek to demonstrate this through supported projects. Mais Vôlei is a great example of this, as it disseminates sport to children and young people for free and equally”, explains Angnes.

The coach recognizes this valuation. “Being a partner of a company like Prati-Donaduzzi gives us great reliability and support in the sports scene”, assumes Assunção.

How to participate in the project?

For children and teenagers aged from 8 to 17 who are interested in participating, they can attend the following Sports Gymnasiums: Hugo Zeni, Lauri Simon and Adenir Massola, in Toledo and register with the instructors.
