Prati-Donaduzzi Pharmaceutical Industry launched a challenge to the participants of the 2nd edition of Pig Data, the largest event in the area of ​​technology and innovation in western Paraná, opened on Wednesday (9), at Biopark - Science and Technology Park of Biosciences, which is based in Toledo.

Applicants to participate in the Hackathon (programming marathon) will have until Friday (11) to present mapping, relationship enhancement and fulfillment solutions for eight OTCs products from the industry portfolio.

An examining board will evaluate all proposals. The selected ones will participate in the final phase on October 18, when they will present the completed projects. The winning team will receive a prize of R$ 2,500, the runner-up takes R$ 1,500, while the third placed R$ 1,000.

Lucas Angnes, Prati-Donaduzzi Marketing manager, proposed the challenge.

The suggestions will be verified by the company, which will evaluate the possibility of implementation. “We are looking for an innovative solution to the launched challenge. We want participants to think 'outside of the box' and introduce us to something we hadn't thought yet”, explained Angnes.

OTCs

According to Angnes, the company presented eight products from its portfolio, because they can be purchased without a prescription. “OTCs are considered drugs that do not require a written note from the physician in order to be purchased. These, as well as multivitamins, are a worldwide trend and become a reality in the country”, he said.

These include Digeflex (stomach acid treatment), Hematofer (recommended for anemia treatment) Sensilatte (lactose intolerant) and ointments, Pratiderm and Dexprotenol, recommended for the treatment of rashes.

In order to close the challenge are the Vigora Plus Homem and Vigora Plus Mulher multivitamins and Omega 3 - products recommended in the prevention of diseases because they contain higher concentration of nutrients. Currently, the industry has a line with 12 products of this segment in commercialization.

Participation

The coordinator and president of Iguassu-IT - promoter of the event, Marcio Pinheiro, emphasized that the participation of Prati-Donaduzzi values ​​Pig Data, which is in its second edition. This year the theme is “Industry 4.0 and Agribusiness.”

“Prati_Donaduzzi participation confirms our purpose of bringing companies closer to technology. The industry relied on the project and also presented a problem for our participants to propose solutions”, said Pinheiro.

Hackathon

Hackathon is one of the Pig Data schedules being hosted by Prati-Donduzzi, Trade Technology/IBM, Iguassu-IT and Sebrae. The registered teams will undergo training given by the three companies.

Iguassu IT, Iguassu Valley Toledo with support from Prati-Donaduzzi, performs pig Data. Activities include courses, panels, lectures, robot challenge, drones, cosplay festival and Hackaton.
