On the first day of training in Nova Santa Rita, RS, Prati-Donaduzzi drivers showed stability and speed, finishing in the top six. The team has a podium history at Velopark, so expectation is optimistic for Saturday's 14th count starts.
“Julio was the fastest driver in his group and finished training as the fourth fastest driver. Valdeno did very well and finished sixth. We are doing well. We still have a little bit left to be the best on the circuit. It was good to finish both cars in the top six, but we are demanding and we always want to improve results”, says team leader, Rodolpho Mattheis.
The drivers also rate the day as positive and believe that tomorrow will be very competitive for qualifying training.
“We started the round well. We have a good and fast car. Now we have to adjust small and punctual things for tomorrow to be 100% in the qualifying”, says Julio Campos.
“It was a good start for the team. We finished training this afternoon on sixth. We can still adjust the time on some curves, but we will be fine for tomorrow's count starts”, concludes Valdeno.
