Prati-Donaduzzi presents its portfolio of drugs at the 7th edition of Farmarcas

Prati-Donaduzzi, the largest producer of generic drugs in Brazil *, presented its entire portfolio on Thursday (8), during the trade fair of the 7th Meeting of Farmarcas Associates, one of the main events of the Brazilian pharmaceutical retail.

60 industry exhibitors and more than 3,000 participants from several parts of Brazil attended the meeting, which ended on Saturday (10) at Espaço Pró Magno, in São Paulo, The aim was to bring pharmacies closer to industries, and thus, make good deals.

The event was divided into two main activities: a trade fair and a cycle of lectures and training activities, which aimed to offer learning and evolution to the associated entrepreneurs.

One of the differentials of the 2019 edition was the celebration of the thousandth store, managed by the association's 11 chains. Another novelty this year was the launch of the book "From zero to 1,000 drugstores in 7 years - How Farmarcas is rewriting the history of the Brazilian pharmaceutical market, empowering entrepreneurs and pursuing collective prosperity." The publication tells the history of the institution as well as its business model.

Prati Stand

Visitors to Prati-Donaduzzi´s stand learned about the drugs from the pharmaceutical industry from Paraná, such as Sensilatte, which is aimed at lactose intolerants, and 160 medicines from the company's portfolio sold at exclusive prices for the event.

According to Carlos Henrique Turri, Prati-Donaduzzi´s regional sales manager, this year's revenue exceeded 2018. The most searched products were from the Popular Pharmacy such as Losartana and Captopril (both for hypertension), and Sensilatte. . “The offered discounts and the length of payment terms contributed to Prati's success at the event”, he said.

While talking about the importance of the meeting, Turri emphasized its commercial character. "One of Farmarcas' differentials is its focus on negotiation."

According to Walter Batista, Prati-Donaduzzi´s trade director, Farmarcas is currently one of the pharmaceutical industry's main partners. “We believe in the business model of the Association. Currently, we are an official partner. ” 

Growth

The Association, which had revenues of over R $ 2.4 billion, and a growth of 46.44% until June this year - compared to the same period last year -, aims to be the fourth largest network in the country, by the end of 2019.

According to Farmarcas´ chief executive, Paulo Costa, the administrator of associative networks creates the condition for partners to grow, which enables the strengthening of the entire chain. “The moment the network professionalizes its entrepreneurs, it makes room for them to create solid partnerships with the industries. When we bring independent retail to professional retail, we create a win-win relationship that strengthens the entire chain, industry and retail. ”

Prati-Donaduzzi, a completely domestic pharmaceutical industry, specialized in the development and production of generic drugs.
