Prati-Donaduzzi soccer team is SESI Municipal Games champion

Prati-Donaduzzi Sports and Recreation Society Soccer Teams (Serprati) won the titles of champion and runner-up at the 33rd edition of the Industry Social Service Games (SESI).

The games started in May and the closing of the matches of "Soccer" modality took place last Sunday, July 17, in Toledo. In total, Serprati teams participated in 11 disputes, considering the qualifying matches and the finals.

This Sunday (4), Prati-Donaduzzi Futsal team (Indoor Soccer) will enter the scene. The match is against Palotina Esporte at 10am at Alcides Pan Sports Gymnasium in Toledo. If the team wins the municipal round, Prati-Donaduzzi will participate in the regional phase of SESI Cascavel Games and will represent the city of Toledo.


In soccer, Prati-Donaduzzi team was established as champion in Free modality and won the title of runner-up in Master modality. Centralpack team, also from Prati-Donaduzzi Group, ranked third in the Master category.

Marcio Candido Martins Fernandes works in the pharmaceutical industry´s blister-packing department and is also a team defender in the soccer and futsal category. Apart from being careful in the production of medicines, he has defended the team's defense for seven years with a lot of enthusiasm.

"The positive result of the team is the result of a lot of training coordinated by instructors Claudemir Basilio and Douglas Fonseca", said Fernandes.


According to Serprati sports director Willian Souza, currently the soccer and futsal teams have 40 athletes. “We achieved a significant increase in training participants. In 2018 there were 25 employees, today there are 50 athletes”, he explains.

Men's Futsal practice takes place every Monday and Wednesday. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the women's Futsal trainings are held. Both of them at Aldanir Angelo Rossoni Gymnasium (formerly CCR) in Toledo. Sporting activities are open to all Serprati members who wish to improve their quality of life or participate in championships.

“We are proud of representing the company”, added Souza.


The 33rd edition of SESI Games, which are being held in Toledo, brings together 300 employees from 15 industries in the municipality.

The municipal games started in April and have 25 sports such as Beach Volleyball, Truco and 8 Ball Pool. “We have managed, in partnership with the industries, to encourage, through SESI Games, the practice of physical activity, with a view to improving the employee´s health promotion”, explained the head of SESI Games in Toledo, Adilma Boffo dos Santos.
