The final competitions of the second phase take place on Saturday (27)
Prati-Donaduzzi received a tribute from the Brazilian Automobile Confederation (CBA) for encouraging motor sports. The recognition took place last Saturday (20), during the finals of the first round of the 54th Brazilian Karting Championship - Prati- Donaduzzi, at Delci Damian karting track in Cascavel.
This week the engines will growl again in the second phase of the championship with the participation of 200 karting racers. The final competitions of the second phase take place on Saturday (27).
During the honor, Marketing Manager, Lucas Angnes, who received from the president of the National Kart Commission a Sports Merit trophy, represented the Pharmaceutical Industry. “We are in the main category of Brazilian motorsport that is Stock Car, and now being present at the Brazilian Karting Championship is a way to encourage new talents”, says Angnes.
Also on Saturday, the official opening ceremony of the event was held on the track that is over 1,026 meters and was attended by several racers representing the Brazilian states. “Prati's initiative in supporting us is extremely important, as karting is the beginning of every racer's career”, says Pedro Sereno, president of the National Karting Commission (CNK).
The president of Paraná Automobile Federation (FPRA), Rubens Gatti attended the tribute and for him, having the support of the largest drug producer in Brazil is a source of pride. “For us, it is an achievement to host the championship in Paraná and have a Paraná industry supporting us”, says Gatti.
First round
At least 200 racers participated in the first round of the championship. The fastest five of the categories: F4 Senior, F4 Graduate, Mirim (racers at the age from 6 to 8), Junior (racers at the age from 12 to 14), Super F4, Cadet, Junior Menor (racers at the age from 10 to 13), Codasur and KZ Senior were awarded.
Prati-Donaduzzi CEO, Eder Fernando Maffissoni, awarded the trophies to the junior champions on the podium. “We are proud to support the championship. Our mission is to provide health and well-being, and nothing better than providing health through sport”, says Maffissoni.

This Monday (22), under Prati-Donaduzzi´s invitation, journalist Reginaldo Leme will participate in a chat with the karting racers and share his professional career in racing coverage such as Stock Car, Formula 1 and Karting. The meeting will be at the Hotel Deville in Cascavel.
