First finals of the 54th Brazilian Karting Championship will be this Saturday (20)

Afterwards, at 6:30pm, journalist Reginaldo Leme will participate in a chat with the kart racers. The meeting will be at Hotel Deville in Cascavel

This Saturday (20), from 8am, at least 200 racers will compete in the first phase finals of the 54th Brazilian Karting Championship - Prati-Donaduzzi, at the Delci Damian karting track in Cascavel.

At 12:20 pm, there will be the official opening ceremony of the event, with a tribute from the Brazilian Automobile Confederation (CBA) to Prati-Donaduzzi for encouraging motor sport. Marketing Manager, Lucas Angnes, will represent the Pharmaceutical Industry.

By the end of the afternoon, the fastest five of the nine categories will be awarded: F4 Senior, F4 Graduate, Mirim (racers at the age from 6 to 8), Junior (racers at the age from 12 to 14), Super F4, Cadet, Junior Menor (racers at the age from 10 to 13), Codasur and KZ Senior. The Codasur champion will be accredited to participate in the Karting World Championship, which is scheduled for September in Finland.

On Monday (22), in the morning, begins the second phase of the championship with the participation of more than 200 racers. Afterwards, at 6:30pm, journalist Reginaldo Leme will participate in a chat with the kart racers. The meeting will be at Hotel Deville in Cascavel.

Leme came to Cascavel under Prati-Donaduzzi´s invitation to talk a little bit about his career as a reporter and stories that he has lived during his 47 years of racing coverage, from Stock Car, Formula 1 and even Karting.

In these more than four decades in auto journalism in Brazil, Leme has covered more than eight world titles Brazil has won in Formula-1 and currently has followed more than 700 Grand Prix.
