Prati-Donaduzzi ends first half with 160 job openings

A reference in job opportunities in the western region of Paraná, Prati-Donaduzzi generated 160 new employments in the first half. Currently, the industry has approximately 4,300 employees and, by the end of the second half, it intends to generate 50 new vacancies, which are all aimed at increasing the productive capacity of medicines. 

The hiring of Prati, contributed to Paraná could be the largest generator of jobs in the South region. There were 39,737 new jobs until May. With this mark, according to the General Register of Employed and Unemployed Individuals (CAGED), Paraná maintained the job growth curve, being the fourth in the country that hired the most from June 2018 to May 2019. 

According to Human Resources Director, Diones Wolfart, Prati-Donaduzzi hires from painters to pharmacists to meet the demands for research and innovation, drug production, among others. “We are looking for people with technical skills, but especially who want to grow with the company. Prati has a culture based on the development of its employees. We offer more than the job. We provide opportunities for professional growth for those who are interested. ” 

Along with the job, the company offers a set of benefits. One of them is the employee development. The company even has a Corporate University (Uniprati) that acts directly in personal and professional training. The average hours of training per Prati´s employee is twice that practiced by the 150 best companies in Brazil (40 hours) and almost six times higher than the Brazilian average (14 hours). In 2018, Prati provided 79 hours of training per employee. 

Who found a job opportunity at Prati-Donaduzzi in 2019 was Jessika Makiyama, who works as a people management analyst. For her, the hiring met her desire to ascend professionally. Her professional background is in Psychology. She was hired to work in the Recruitment and Selection Department. Three months later, she was promoted to the Human and Organizational Development Department as a Business Partner. “I am very motivated, focused and fulfilled by the growth opportunities that Prati has been providing me. Vacancies

Nowadays, the company has 80 open positions for Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics, Research Development and Innovation (RD&I), Human Resources, Quality Systems and there are also vacancies available for Centralpack Embalagens - a company of Prati-Donaduzzi Group. To apply, you must be 18 years old, have completed high school, have available time and live in Toledo, as the company receives all employees from Foz do Iguaçu, Cascavel and several Brazilian cities. 

Hiring auxiliaries 

Of these 80 vacancies, 30 will be used to hire auxiliaries for areas related to the drug manufacturing process, such as production, quality system, research, development and innovation. These people shall take the 18-month pharmacy technical course offered by Prati. 

To apply for these specific vacancies, applicants must be at least 23 years old, have completed high school and preferably live in Toledo. The classes will be held at the Center of Professional Education in Biosciences (CEPBio), where various courses of professional development of Prati-Donaduzzi employees are carried out. 

 As classes for the technical course will take place in the mornings, selected candidates must be available to work from 1:40 to 10:00 pm (2nd shift) or from 9:55 pm to 5:35 am (3rd shift). The monthly fees cost R$ 375.00, and the employee will pay only R$ 100.00 via payroll discount after the second month of his/her hiring. The company shall pay the rest of the amount. 

It is important to mention that those selected to participate in this selection process first participate in a course, also carried out at CEPBio, called “manuipulador de medicamentos” (medicine handler). At this point, people learn about the Good Manufacturing Practices process and the operation of the pharmaceutical industry in general. Doing this training is essential to follow in the hiring process.

After receiving the applications, the Recruitment and Selection department performs a screening of the registered resumes and those with the vacancy profile are called for the next step of the process. When hired, the employee shall go through a General Integration Program (PGI) in order to know about company areas, procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, among other important information.
