Prati-Donaduzzi Professional Initiation Program prepares young people for the job market

In the first half of 2019, over 100 young people had the opportunity of participating in the Program

A group of 48 young people is ready to enter the world of work. Prati-Donaduzzi held on Thursday (27) the graduation of another group from the Professional Initiation Program (PIP).

During the 40 hours /class that were part of the training, subjects related to curriculum development, career planning, concepts of the pharmaceutical market were taught, among others. All classes took place in the premises of the industry and the employees of the company were responsible for teaching the young people. 

As a way to complement the contents worked along the course, the young people participate, also in the industry, in a workshop. At that moment, employees who work in several departments were invited to a discussion on the professional training they have and the activities they carry out on a day-to-day basis. 

The aim of this workshop is to contribute to the professional choices that young people may have. In this edition, professionals from the areas of Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Information Technology and Production Control, Planning and Programming attended the meeting. 

The Professional Initiation Program began in 2017 and is organized by Prati-Donaduzzi Corporate University - Uniprati. Since its beginning, it has assisted more than 200 students. In the first half of 2019, over 100 young people had the opportunity of participating in the Program. By the end of 2019, two more groups are planned. 

The differential of the young person who participates in the Professional Initiation Program is the possibility of being able to compete for the vacancies of the selective process for the Apprenticeship Program also offered by the pharmaceutical industry. Every year, the company opens a selective process for the hiring of apprentices who join the effective staff of the industry. 

For the ones who are interested in participating in the new groups of the Professional Initiation Program, pay attention to the enrollment period. The course is offered to young people aged 16 to 20 years, free of charge and 50 students are selected for each group.

The human resources manager, Luís Enrique Pitarelo, explains why Prati-Donaduzzi invest in the education of young people. "We believe that lives can be transformed through education. Investing in young people through this program represents, besides a service to the community, the possibility of providing guidelines and knowledge that make a difference and make their entry into the labor market easier. " 

The Student, Maria Eduarda Felipe, made a positive evaluation of her participation in the Program. "I wanted to learn something different and I got to. I finished the activities with the feeling of knowing better who I am and what I want professionally. I leave from here someone better, for sure", she said.
