PAM celebrates five years in Toledo

The meeting brought together representatives of companies and members of the Fire Department

Representatives of the companies that are part of the Mutual Assistance Plan of Toledo (PAM) met on Tuesday (28) to celebrate the five years of the project. The meeting took place at the head office of Primato Cooperativa Agroindustrial and had the participation of members of the Fire Department of Toledo - 2nd Sub-Grouping (SGB).

PAM is a voluntary action of companies and industries of the city, and has the purpose of providing material and human resources to support the Fire Department in emergencies. Prati-Donaduzzi Pharmaceutical industry and Centralpack Embalagens have been actively involved since its implementation in Toledo in May 2014.

The Chief of the Fire Department, Luis Eduardo Zarpellon, made a retrospective of the work. He presented results, achievements and mainly the benefits that the Plan has brought to companies and when the subject is strengthening the culture of prevention and especially the training of people to act in emergencies.

The President of PAM in 2019 Management and employee of Centralpack Embalagens, Cristiane Theobald, took the opportunity to thank the support of the Fire Department. "The carried out activities seek to strengthen the safety culture in companies and the Fire Department is a focal point in this, because it shares knowledge through training, simulation and other activities. Celebrating five years is gratifying, this shows a work that has been done together, and as the president, I am proud of where we have gotten", she says. 

Currently, PAM has the participation of 12 companies. Every month, the members of the Fire Brigade of these companies participate in trainings with the intention of being able to support the Fire Department and attend situations in the companies when requested.
