Prati-Donaduzzi projects are recognized by good practices

Prati-Donaduzzi received on May 22 the recognition for good practices in projects developed in the area of ​​social responsibility. The ceremony was held at Acary de Oliveira Auditorium, attached to Toledo City Hall, and was attended by representatives of the Municipality of Toledo, representatives of Itaipu, from the Program of United Nations for Development, Sustainable Cities Program and award-winning initiatives. 

The event recognized five actions successfully developed in Toledo, which were registered in the II Good Practices Competition and initiatives for the construction of Agenda 2030, promoted by the Council of Development of the Lindeiros Municipalities to Itaipu Lake and the Sustainable Cities Program. 

Prati-Donaduzzi was awarded a trophy for “Recomeçar” and “Safe Pregnancy” Programs. Through an interface with Toledo Forum, 20th Police Subdivision and Community Council, Recomeçar Program assists women who are in prison. The focus is on social reintegration and labor market, and actions are aimed at reducing criminal reoccurrence. Among the main activities are workshops, lectures and trainings. 

 

Safe Pregnancy is a program aimed at the company's female employees who are pregnant and for employees' wives. Several trainings are offered in order to provide knowledge on childbirth and postpartum, rights, nutrition, breastfeeding, first aid, among others. All activities are focused on improving the life quality of mothers and babies. Since 2005, the project has assisted more than 1,600 participants. 

The Social Responsibility Supervisor, Maria Rita Pozzebon, participated in the event and received the trophies. "This recognition is important for us as a sustainable development practice, since it shows how much Prati-Donaduzzi is a company that is concerned with providing people with well-being", she says. 

 

Agenda 2030

Agenda 2030 is a plan of action for people, the planet and prosperity, which seeks to strengthen universal peace. The plan, agreed by 193 countries, indicates 17 Sustainable Development Goals, ODS, and 169 goals, to eradicate poverty and promote a dignified life for all the people, within the limits of the planet.
