Prati-Donaduzzi, the largest manufacturer of generic drugs in Brazil *, in partnership with Erasto Gaertner Hospital - a reference in the fight against cancer, starts registrations for the Trainee Researcher Program. The first edition of the program, which has an innovative feature, offers four vacancies to graduated pharmacists. It will be a differential to have post-graduation/master´s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Oncology.
The Program aims, through the exchange of knowledge, to train professionals for the activities involved in the cycles of pharmaceutical assistance and drug development. In addition, it aims to make the communication between industry and hospital easier, generating products and services that benefit health care in the country, as well as improvements in patient care.
The Program lasts for two years and has in total 44 hours per week. For a period of one year, Trainee Researcher shall be at Prati-Donaduzzi, based in Toledo (PR), and shall act in a brief job rotation in several areas of industry, such as Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, among others. Afterwards, the professionals shall be allocated in the Research, Development and Pharmaceutical Innovation Department. In the other 12 months, they will work at Erasto Gaertner Hospital, in Curitiba (PR), in areas such as drug selection, receiving, dispensing and storage, among others.
According to Prati-Donaduzzi Human Resources Director, Diones Wolfart, initiatives such as this one reinforce the search for innovative solutions in the health area, in addition to contributing to the training of professionals with an important differential. "We believe that this exchange of knowledge will be enriching for the participants and that health in Brazil is the biggest beneficiary, as these professionals will be encouraged to seek assertive and innovative solutions focused on the quality of life and well-being of patients", he emphasizes.
The Superintendent of Erasto Gaertner Hospital, Adriano Lago, comments on the benefits of the program. It is a unique opportunity in a single project because the practitioner will understand the care that happens to the patient when using the drug in the hospital and, on the other hand, how the industry makes it.
