Entrepreneurship history in pharmaceutical field of the couple Carmen and Luiz Donaduzzi, Prati-Donaduzzi´s founding partners, has recieved the deserved recognition from the National Academy of Pharmacy (NAP). The formal sitting and the swearing-in ceremony of the new scholors took place on Friday evening (22nd), in Toledo.
Doctor Carmen Donaduzzi holds now the chair of paragraph 53, from Natural Science Section, whose Patron is the Professor Dr. Gustavo Peckolt. Yet, Luiz Donaduzzi holds the chair of paragraph 10, Pharmacy Section, whose Emeritus Patron is João Correa Dutra and Titular Patron is Carlos Benjamin Silva e Araújo.
The honor was given by the entity president, Dr. Lauro Moretto, for the important history of the couple, mainly in the pharmaceutical industry, in scientific researches and teaching performance. “We are honored to include the couple in our titular member chart of National Academy of Pharmacy. They serve as examples for current and future pharmacists, thus, we praise all the actions of this couple, which deserves this honor”, he emphasizes.
During their speech, Dr. Carmen and Dr. Luiz reminded the path of devotion, entrepreneurship and future vision. Dr. Luiz Donaduzzi took advantage of the occasion to reassure Prati-Donaduzzi´s commitment to society. “I don´t like to teach very much, what I really like is to generate jobs. When in doubt about either machines or people, I have always opted for people”. Only this year, Prati-Donaduzzi industry has hired about 400 employees and still has job openings.
The honor enhances the contribution of the founding partners on the seriousness of the development and production of generic drugs, thus, allowing higher access to the treatment for the Brazilian population.
