Science, Technology and Information former Minister conducts a lecture about Tecnological Parks at Prati-Donaduzzi

Municipal Leaders, entrepreneurs and Prati-Donaduzzi employees had the opportunity of taking part in a lecture about Technological Parks, which was conducted by Marco Antônio Raupp, on Tuesday (28th) at Prati-Donaduzzi. The meeting aimed to present the successful case of São José dos Campos Technological Park and enhance the thoughts about the regional development, companies integration and the sustainability in the West of Paraná. In addition to the lecture, the invited people got to know some facilities of the company. Marcos Antônio Raupp was one of the mentors and founders of São José dos Campos Technological Park, where he works as an Executive Director. During the lecture, it was presented how the main articulations occured for the beginning of the park, construction, the current structure and which companies are allocated in the site. “Knowledge might be turned into possessions of human growth, and São José dos Campos Technological Park is a proof of that, people understood the need and how much it contributes and will still contribute to the city and surrounding area”, he emphasizes.
This Park was the first one to be constructed in Brazil and it has been inspiring other ones around Brazil. It consists of companies, public-private partnerships, universities, incubators, among others. The Park Business Department Director, Marcelo Sáfadi Álvares and the Director of Operations, Elso Alberti Junior were also present. Both of them followed the lecture by making some comments about the site´s operation. The participants could also ask questions about jobs generated, investments, location and results.
Luíz Donaduzzi, partner-founder of Prati-Donaduzzi and President of Directors Board (CAD), talked about the importance of innovation along with technology. “We need to innovate by thinking about the future, to use technology and qualify people to perform in those areas. The view that an industrial park is just that, to think about research, people´s development, the impact it may cause in the place it is inserted”, he completes.
