Amanda and Thiago Gutierrez are looking forward for the arrival of little Isaac, who should be born within ten days. The couple were active participants in the Safe Pregnancy Program, developed by Prati-Donaduzzi’s Social Responsibility section. “We never lost a module. We are first-time parents and every information, both theoretical and practical, about the initial care for the baby were essential,” they point out.
The dedication to the program resulted in an invitation: Amanda and Thiago – him, a collaborator to the pharmaceutical industry – will be on the cover of the newsletter delivered to pregnant women during the course and where there is every module that will be performed. “We were very happy with the invitation to participate in this campaign.”
This year’s first class had the participation of approximately 50 pregnant women, who received guidance on motherhood and relationship with the newborn. “We had a 60% increase in the number of participants in this first class of the year and also more parents attending the meetings and accompanying their wives,” says Maria Rita Pozzebon, the woman in charge of Prati-Donaduzzi’s Social Responsibility area.
The meeting for the closing of activities took place on Thursday (the 19th), on the premises of the pharmaceutical manufacturer. On that occasion, talents who took part in the SerMúsica’s Solos Project sang for the pregnant women, and also, daddy Thiago honored his wife, Amanda. Every mother also received a certificate and a personalized bag “packed full” with various baby care products.
Close to completing ten years, the Safe Pregnancy Program will feature a special edition for the next class to attend the course. “We already have 20 pregnant women enrolled for the second class of the year, which should start its activities in two months,” says Maria Rita. The Safe Pregnancy Program serves annually more than 120 pregnant women, including collaborators and wives of employees.
