Centralpack has over 16 years of history in the packaging market and daily searches for solutions for its customers. In this constant evolution, the industry recently achieved the FAMA Disney certification, valid for the next five years with annual maintenance, which is applied to companies that manufacture products that use the intellectual property belonging to the Walt Disney Company and its subsidiary companies.

In order to obtain the FAMA (Facility and Merchandise Authorization Application and Instructions) certificate, the company underwent audits by the Brazilian Technical Standards Association (ABNT) and the Brazilian Textile Retail Association (ABVTEX). The audit proved that Centralpack is in line with what is contained in the Disney Code of Conduct, which is based on the International Labor Organization (ILO) conventions, with no non-conformity being identified in the process, proving 100% of compliance with requirements.

The monitoring of these audits was carried out by the Quality System Department, as explained by the manager, Leila Cristiane Greipel. “The team was committed to providing all the necessary data and the result was gratifying. We had no record of what made us achieve the Gold Standard, according to the audit criteria, which we are proud of. We have passed through the processes successfully and this guarantees a sustainable and responsible future for the company”, she says.

Along with this certification, the industry also received the Gold Standard Certificate in Social Responsibility from ABVTEX, opening new markets for Centralpack. In this way, the company will be able to offer its services to customers in the textile chain in addition to the segments already served, which are incorporating Disney brands, logos and characters in their packaging.

More than a new market, the certificates attest to Centralpack's quality standards. The director of the industry, Gimenes Silva, reveals that the achievements add to the purpose of growth. “Centralpack is made up of people and we are aligned to carry out work with seriousness, robustness and excellence in everything we do. These certifications show that we are on the right path. We are going to grow even more and the quality of our products, services and processes is essential to have even more prominence”.

Centralpack is a company of Prati-Donaduzzi Group and is located in Toledo, in the West of Paraná. With 16 years of experience in the packaging market, it has become increasingly a benchmark in this sector.
