Júlia Bergmann, a member of Brazilian Women's Volleyball Team, thanked Prati-Donaduzzi and Incomar School for their support on her formation as an athlete. "I just have to thank the college staff, the members of the volleyball project, my family and all those who helped me on this journey. The sport has changed my life and I am grateful for that", said Julia during a ceremony at Incomar School sports court on Monday (2) in Toledo.
Representatives of the Municipal Sports and Recreation Department (SMEL), Prati-Donaduzzi, teachers, principals and students from school, attended the honor to the 19-year-old Toledo´s athlete, who has just participated in the League of Nations in China. Julia took advantage of the meeting to bid farewell to the city, because she now goes to the United States to study Physics. "Thanks to volleyball I got a scholarship. I'm already moving there", she told the athletes who train on the same court that she had contact with volleyball in 2012.
Prati-Donaduzzi Pharmaceutical Industry participated in the event because it has supported since 2015, through the Sports Incentive Law, the project “Mais Vôlei Toledo”, organized by SMEL and Toledo Volleyball Association (Avotol).
According to the instructor of Mais Vôlei, Marcos Assunção, the athlete is one of the successful cases of the project. "Julia came to join the team and stood out. She has enormous potential", he said. For Assunção, Prati-Donaduzzi support was essential to make her reach the Brazilian Team position. "Through the support of the company, we were able to participate in several championships that put Júlia in evidence. The result was the selection for women's volleyball Team. "
Representing Prati-Donaduzzi, the communication supervisor, Abilene Rodrigues, spoke about supporting actions that promote well-being. "We support projects that are linked to our mission of providing health. “Mais Voleibol” is an example of this. When we see an athlete of ours stand out, it encourages us to continue supporting. Success for Julia more and more. "
